Connected for Good: Building on proven support to help households across Argyll and Bute
ALIenergy is delighted to be the lead partner delivering Argyll & Bute Council’s Connected for Good project, working in partnership with Argyll & Bute Citizens Advice Bureau and Bute Advice Centre to support households across the region facing the ongoing cost of living challenges.
Connected for Good builds on the experience and learning gained through the Flexible Food and Fuel Fund, which delivered vital support to households across Argyll and Bute and generated more than £7 million in client gain. This demonstrated the significant difference that timely, accessible and person-centred support can make for individuals and families facing financial pressures.
Through Connected for Good, our partnership will continue this important work — connecting people with the advice, financial support, energy assistance and wider services they need to improve their circumstances and build greater financial resilience.
ALIenergy’s Affordable Warmth Service has demonstrated a Social Return on Investment (SROI) of 7:1, meaning that for every £1 invested, £7 of social value is generated. We will bring this experience, alongside the expertise of our partner organisations, to Connected for Good, creating a powerful multiplier effect that can extend the impact of every pound invested and help transform lives across Argyll and Bute.
Together, we are committed to making sure that people facing financial hardship are not left to navigate these challenges alone — and that support reaches those who need it most.
