Re_Store named “One to Watch” at Social Enterprise Awards Scotland 2025

ALIenergy CEO Lynda, Sarah (Rescued Food Coordinator), Louise (Shop Coordinator) and Aideen (Development Officer) from the Re_Store community initiative, were thrilled to accept the “One to Watch” award, at the Social Enterprise Scotland Awards ceremony earlier this month. This distinguished award celebrates an up and coming social enterprise, and is an acknowledgement of the collectives' ongoing dedication and positive impact within the community.

This year, 2025, the Social Enterprise Awards Scotland celebrated their fifteenth anniversary, marking a significant milestone for the sector. Winners were announced at a special ceremony held at the voco Grand Central Hotel on Thursday, 6th November. There was a record number of entries, showcasing the creativity and resilience of Scotland’s purpose-led businesses.

The evening included an address by First Minister John Swinney MSP, who underscored the importance of social enterprises to Scotland’s economy and later made special of the Re_Store, adding to the significance of this memorable occasion.
