ALIenergy delivers a range of education opportunities in schools and communities. Currently, we are delivering the Science of Energy project, which is funded by the Scottish Government’s Talking Science Fund and the Robertson Trust. This project offers fun and interactive workshops and activities at public and community events that explain the science behind renewable energy and energy efficiency technologies and it works with community groups to help build understanding of energy and climate changes issues.

We also provide a range of education workshops to schools and community groups, which are tailored to their specific interests or needs. ALIenergy’s Education and Development Officer, Kirsty Jackson-Stark, is supported by other staff members at events and by freelance workers who work with us on a long term basis. All staff are fully disclosed by Disclosure Scotland and have considerable experience of providing educational services to adults and children.

ALIenergy also participate at ABREEF (Argyll and Bute Regional Environmental Education Forum) which is an annual event. The ABREEF venue changes each year to give different schools an opportunity to attend the environmental fair.

ALIenergy have been involved in a number of activities, ranging from road shows to environmental fairs. We have an extensive Energy ‘DVD’ library, with well known titles available for hire.
