Argyll Energy Information
And Awareness Project
The Argyll Energy Information & Awareness Project recently run by ALIenergy and funded, until the end of March 2011 by the Climate Challenge Fund, has now been completed.
The project was successful in meeting the targets set, ultimately to reduce carbon emissions across Argyll by an estimated 12,000 tonnes. All targets were exceeded, a very worthwhile project indeed.
The AEIA Advice Points set up across Argyll and Bute which gave free information & advice are now no longer operational, except in Bute where Alma will be available to give information on Affordable Warmth issues.
We would like to thank our project partners for all their help with this CCF project, namely:
- Dave and Kirsten at Re-Jig on Islay,
- Tim from Mull and Iona Community Trust,
- Alma and Gordon at Bute Advice Centre,
- John at Campbellās Paint & Hardware Shop-Dunoon,
- Geraldine and the team at Citizens Advice Bureau-Lochgilphead,
- Jim from Community Partnership based within Loch LLTNP Headquarters
- Sara and all the team at the Visitor Information Centre-Inveraray.
Well done everyone, we could not have achieved these astounding results without you.
